Education

Philip thought that Alexander needed a better education. He was in dire need of a tutor, so he searched around. Finally he gave the job to Aristotle . In return for teaching Alexander, Philip offered to rebuild Philip's hometown of Stageira. Meiza was like a boarding school for Alexander and the other young nobles. At the school Aristotle educated the adolescents about medicine, philosophy, morals, religion, logic, and art. From his teachings, Alexander started to develop a passion for the works of Homer.
